Paraltex was founded by Robert Nicholson, who set out to build something lasting: a family-owned group of HVAC and trades businesses that support each other, share knowledge, and grow together — without losing the local character that made each of them successful in the first place.

Paraltex is solely owned by Robert. There are no outside shareholders and no institutional investors pulling the strings. The plan is simple and long-term: bring together well-run, well-regarded Queensland trades businesses, invest in the people and systems behind them, and build something strong enough to leave to his own children one day.

That's the whole idea — a real, family-run business built the same way the trades businesses we work with were: with care, over time, by people who intend to stick around.
